2019 Oregon Festival of Cars
September 13 - September 15
The Oregon Festival of Cars has been a hugely successful event, recognized by many as their favorite car event of the year. In 2013 the Oregon Festival of Cars was first held at the beautiful Broken Top Club golf course in Bend. 2019 finds us in a fun new location: Deschutes Historical Museum, 129 NW Idaho, between Bond and Wall at the south end of downtown Bend.
Our Unique Atmosphere
Started 23 years ago as the Sunriver Exotic Car Show, this has become a must-do annual event for an increasing number of car enthusiasts. Hundreds of enthusiast cars are expected to participate in this fantastic event. During its 23-year history, this event has developed a unique atmosphere of being relaxed and fun with participants being able to get to know other like-minded enthusiasts.
The group drive from the Portland area will again start at the Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo facility at 9:00 am.
Kick the dirt off your wheels and grab a beer — join us for the annual Beer Wash, starting around noon at Mt. Bachelor Village.
The Friday evening registration will be at Bistro 28 and will be no-host. You can come in, pick up your registration, and then eat and drink off the menu. They ask if possible to please make a reservation if planning on having dinner, but not necessary as we will have an area of the restaurant for our event. For reservations call 541-728-0065 and tell them you’ll be with the Oregon Festival of Cars. Bistro 28 is a sister restaurant to Zydeco and the food there is awesome!
The site will be the Deschutes Historical Museum, 129 NW Idaho, between Bond and Wall at the south end of downtown Bend. It’s a pretty site (check it out online), but space is limited. The first 50 or so cars to register will be parked on the grass. If you are one of those parking on the grass you must be at the facility not later than 8:30 as we cannot hold the spots. The rest of the group will be parked on contiguous asphalt. We are currently planning on having Idaho street blocked off if city permits are granted. Being downtown will give you easy access to coffee shops and restaurants and shopping.
The Festival Banquet
The fulfilled Saturday night banquet will be held at Mt. Bachelor Village. All the same fun just a different location plus close to your lodging so you can walk to dinner if staying at the village.
The Sunday Dash
The Sunday Dash and Lunch will be another nice tour headed up by Tim and Kim Morris owners of German Mastertech. They always do a wonderful job.
The Festival has regularly provided substantial support to Central Oregon charities. Our 2018 beneficiary is The Deschutes Historical Museum.
Registration for 2019 will be available in March.
