June 2017

Arrive and Drive – June 10

June 10 @ 8:45 am - 2:00 pm

2017 Arrive and Drive continues on Saturday, June 10. Remember - there is not an Arrive and Drive in July because of the Summer Picnic. Enjoy some of the best driving roads in the five county area. Each drive is roughly 60 to 100 miles in length and finishing in under three hours. It is a great way to kick off the weekend and a fun way for new members to get acquainted with ORPCA.

To attend, bring your favorite Porsche (with plenty of fuel) and ideally, a navigator, to our start location at Miller’s Homestead at 17933 SW McEwan Ave, Tigard 97224 no later than 8:45am. Driver’s meeting takes place at 9:00am, but many arrive early at 8:00am for a no-host breakfast. With an average of 40 to 50 cars, we often try to break into smaller groups rather than doing one long convoy. The first group of cars will depart at around 9:15am.

THIS IS A NO FEE EVENT

Please note that the Porsche Club of America has an insurance program that covers driving events (excluding racing), both for the club and the participants. In order for this coverage to be in effect, all participants, drivers and passengers, must sign the Release and Waiver of Liability form that will be available at each event. Please make sure you do this before leaving the start location.

ORPCA Summer Tour and Picnic – July 30

July 30 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Our Summer Tour and Picnic is planned for Sunday, July 30 this year. This is always a favorite for our members and it sells out quickly, so save the date. The driving tour will wind its way through some great western Washington & Yamhill County rural roads (all paved!) and end at a beautiful winery in the Dundee Hills. We’ll have another exceptional catered gourmet lunch with tastings of Estate-Grown Pinot Noir Rosé, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Wine tasting plus wine with lunch is included in the price of $34.00 per person.

Registration will open Thursday, June 1. A link will be added on this day to this page. We will add a notice to the email blast on May 31 to remind you. For questions, please contact Jeff Gretz at 503.915.2364 or jgretz@onlinenw.com
