SUMMARY:January Midweek Drive
DESCRIPTION:We will set off from Oregon Trail Visitors Center for an all–back roads adventure\, heading east and then south through the charming countryside towns of Viola\, Elwood\, Cedardale\, and Fernwood. Skirting Molalla\, we continued south through Scotts Mills\, winding our way across scenic roads until we reach Silver Falls State Park. After soaking in the sights and enjoying plenty of twisty stretches along the way\, we turn north once more\, weaving through Silverton and ending up at Lou’s Kitchen in Mt. Angel for a tasty lunch and a cheerful recap of our journey.  \nWe look forward to welcoming old and new members to this exciting drive event. If you’re not already a club member\, and would like to join us on events like these\, join ORPCA here. \nEvent Organizer: Mark McGirr and Fred Holzheiser \nEvent Stats:\nNumber of Groups: 2 groups of 12 cars\nTotal Miles: 110 miles\nTotal Drive Time: 3.5 hours \nDigital Navigation Support: \nRidewithGPS link will be provided to attendees with Driving Directions. \nRegistration Information:  \nRegistration will open on December 18 at 7:00 p.m. and close on January 10 at 5 p.m. Volunteers will be needed for Leads and Sweeps. Please volunteer when you register\, if you are able and willing to accept the responsibilities. \nGeneral Information about this Event: \nRegistration is by car. Each driver must complete the data collection in the registration form. If you have a navigator\, please register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator\, just mark the navigator question as N/A. \nThe start location\, time\, description of Digital Navigation Support as well a printable PDF file of Driving Directions will be provided two days before the event to all registrants.
