SUMMARY:Coastal Escape Weekend
DESCRIPTION:March 21-22\, 2026 \nThis single overnight adventure is a classic Oregon road trip. Join President\, Carole Hedstrom and First Navigator\, Brad Hedstrom on a short trip to the coast. \nSaturday\, March 21 – We’ll leave from Wilsonville and take the twistiest way out from the Portland-metro to the iconic Salishan Lodge at Gleneden Beach. The drive is approximately 200 miles with multiple stops for refreshments and bio-breaks. We’ll relax and take in the sea breezes before heading to dinner at The Side Door Café. If you haven’t been\, you are in for a treat. The restaurant is just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel. \nSunday\, March 22 – After a leisurely morning\, we’ll take to the coast again\, mostly avoiding Hwy 101 as we make all the stops along the Three Capes route. After enjoying the stunning views of the Pacific and a lighthouse\, we head further north to Cannon Beach. Another treat awaits us there as we roll our beautiful cars into a high-end neighborhood for a tour of luxury homes at Ecola Point. This is a win-win destination as we get to consider owning a stunning home at the Coast\, while they snap some beauty shots of Porsches in front of the same luxury homes. While Macans and Cayennes are welcome\, Ecola Point is really looking forward to some tasty sportscars parked out front. \nFrom Cannon Beach you can shoot on home the easy way or linger in town or perhaps curate your own way back. DESCRIPTION:Tour Description\n\n\n\n\nTuesday 6/16/26\n\n\n\nNorthwest Passage Opening Reception \n  \nOn Tuesday\, June 16th\, from 6–8 pm\, the Northwest Passage Team will be hosting the opening reception at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo — North America’s oldest Ferrari dealership — located at 25300 SW Parkway Ave\, Wilsonville. \nJoin us for an evening surrounded by stunning Italian cars\, with hors d’oeuvres\, wine\, and beer. June participants will also be picking up their goodie bags\, door signs\, and name badges. Both June and September attendees are welcome. \nWe look forward to seeing you there and kicking off another great Northwest Passage together. \n  \n\n\n\n\nDay 1: Wednesday 6/17/26\n\n\n\n\nDay 1 includes traveling to Lebanon\, OR.  \nWe will offer a backroad drive from Oregon City to Lebanon if you want to avoid riding I-5. \n3-5 pm Registration for the NW Passage at the Boulder Falls Inn. Receive the goodie bag\, the lanyards\, door signs and the tour book. \nCheck into the hotel.1st Night: Boulder Falls Inn\, Lebanon OR \n5-6:30 pm: Hosted Reception. We will be taking the side roads west of the I-5 corridor and Eugene\, and finally diving into the coast range experiencing some truly interesting back roads of the area. Then after returning to more “civilized” roads\, we will again divert from “roads most traveled” to the scenic drive along the Umpqua River. This is perhaps one of the most enjoyable scenic and relaxing roads a club member could ask for. From there we will continue south and finally head west over the coast range to our destination in Bandon. \n2nd Night: Windermere On the Beach & Best Western Inn at Face Rock\, Bandon\, OR \n5:30-6:30 pm: Hosted Bar. \n6:30-8:30 pm: Hosted Dinner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 3: Friday 6/19/26\n\n\n\n\n On Friday we will be driving down the coast into California. \nThere will be multiple opportunities for points of interest and stops along the way.  Further into California\, we will be moving away from the coast\, and driving into the Redwoods. \nFinally arriving at the historic Benbow Inn\, where we will be spending two nights. \n3rd and 4th Night: Benbow Historic Inn\, Garberville CA\, \n5:30-6:30 pm: Hosted Reception \n6:30 pm: Hosted Dinner \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 4: Saturday 6/20/26\n\n\n\n\n Saturday will be a Navigator’s Day Off. There will be several options for activities. One option will be an easy drive further south to Fort Bragg and  Mendocino for lunch and returning by a slightly different route. \nWe’re also offering a private guided hikes in the Rockefeller Forest on Saturday 6/20. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026 Scenic Oregon Tour 1 – 7/13/26 – 7/17/26 “The Painted Hills Tour”\n\n\nDan Morris\, our Vice-President\, created again an exciting 4 day all inclusive driving tour! \nThe general direction of the 2026 tour is Southeast and Eastern Oregon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nTour Description\n\n\n\n\nThe 2026 Oregon Scenic Tour will take us from the heart of the mid-Willamette Valley through the majestic Central Cascades and deep into the breathtaking high desert of Southeastern Oregon. Expect a blend of open highways\, sweeping mountain passes\, wide desert straights\, and unforgettable twisty sections—all with stunning scenery around every bend. \nAlong the way\, there will be countless opportunities for photo stops\, moments of relaxation\, and shared camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026 Scenic Oregon Tour 2 – 7/27/26 – 7/31/26 “The Painted Hills Tour”\n\n\nDan Morris\, our Vice-President\, created again an exciting 4 day all inclusive driving tour! \nThe general direction of the 2026 tour is Southeast and Eastern Oregon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nTour Description\n\n\n\n\nThe 2026 Oregon Scenic Tour will take us from the heart of the mid-Willamette Valley through the majestic Central Cascades and deep into the breathtaking high desert of Southeastern Oregon. Expect a blend of open highways\, sweeping mountain passes\, wide desert straights\, and unforgettable twisty sections—all with stunning scenery around every bend. \nAlong the way\, there will be countless opportunities for photo stops\, moments of relaxation\, and shared camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. Think of it as the perfect balance: sporty Porsche driving paired with luxurious lodging and memorable dining experiences. \nDetails & Highlights \n\nFour days\, three nights\, approximately 1\,100 miles of scenic driving.\nAll meals included: 4 breakfasts\, 4 lunches\, 4 dinners\, plus hosted happy hours.\nLuxury lodging in Bend and at Silvies Valley Ranch.\nLimited to 12 cars per tour.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs one 2025 participant put it:\n“Oregon Scenic is like a cruise—except we get to drive our Porsches.”\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 1: Monday 7/27/26 – Meetup in Lebanon\n\n\n\nFor the first night we will stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Lebanon\, south of Salem. \nAfter registration and check-in\, we will have a joint group dinner in Lebanon. \n6:30 pm: Group Dinner \n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\nDay 2: Tuesday 7/28/26 – Valley to Bend\n\n\n\nWe begin our journey crossing the Cascades into Central Oregon. Our first night will be spent in Bend\, where we’ll stay along the beautiful Deschutes River and enjoy an award-winning group dinner. \nCheck into the hotel. 1st Night: River House Lodge\, Bend OR \n5-6:30 pm: Hosted Bar \n6:30 pm: Group Dinner \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 3: Wednesday 7/29/26 – Bend to Silvies Valley Ranch\n\n\n\n From Bend\, we head east through dramatic high desert landscapes to Silvies Valley Ranch—an all-inclusive five-star resort. While golf\, spa treatments\, and horseback riding are available for personal enjoyment (not included in registration)\, the highlight will be our group meals and evening together at this unique destination. 2nd Night: Silvies Valley Ranch\, Seneca OR \n5-6 pm: Hosted Bar. \n6-8 pm: Group Dinner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 4: Thursday 7/30/26 – Scenic South-Eastern Loop\n\n\n\n We will set out on an unforgettable day drive toward the Idaho border\, climbing and descending a spectacular mountain pass before circling back to Silvies. The evening  is yours to enjoy the resort’s spa\, pool\, or a fireside chat with fellow drivers before another fine dinner. 3rd  Night: Silvies Valley Ranch\, Seneca OR \n5-6 pm: Hosted Bar. \n6-8 pm: Group Dinner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 5: Friday 7/31/26 – Painted Hills and Farewell\n\n\n\n On our final day\, we’ll head north through Oregon’s rugged outback and past the Painted Hills. \nAfter lunch we offer two routes back to Portland: a shorter route through Condon and Wasco to I-84 \,and a longer and more windy one through Fossil and Antelope\, around Mt. DESCRIPTION:Tour Description\n\n\n\n\nTuesday 6/16/26\n\n\n\n\n \nNorthwest Passage Opening Reception\nOn Tuesday\, June 16th\, from 6–8 pm\, the Northwest Passage Team will be hosting the opening reception at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo — North America’s oldest Ferrari dealership — located at 25300 SW Parkway Ave\, Wilsonville. \nJoin us for an evening surrounded by stunning Italian cars\, with hors d’oeuvres\, wine\, and beer. June participants will also be picking up their goodie bags\, door signs\, and name badges. Both June and September attendees are welcome. \nWe look forward to seeing you there and kicking off another great Northwest Passage together. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 1: Wednesday 9/16/26\n\n\n\n\nDay 1 includes traveling to Lebanon\, OR.  \nWe will offer a backroad drive from Oregon City to Lebanon if you want to avoid riding I-5. \n3-5 pm Registration for the NW Passage at the Boulder Falls Inn. Receive the goodie bag\, the lanyards\, door signs and the tour book. \nCheck into the hotel.1st Night: Boulder Falls Inn\, Lebanon OR \n5-6:30 pm: Hosted Reception. (Dinner on your own) \n6:30-7:30 pm: Two training sessions: \n\n6:30 pm: Introduction to the NW Passage for “First Timers”\n7 pm: Introduction to using our digital Navigation App RidewithGPS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 2: Thursday 9/17/26\n\n\n\n\n On Thursday we depart the hotel in Lebanon\, and cross over I-5 into the southern Willamette Valley. We will be taking the side roads west of the I-5 corridor and Eugene\, and finally diving into the coast range experiencing some truly interesting back roads of the area. Then after returning to more “civilized” roads\, we will again divert from “roads most traveled” to the scenic drive along the Umpqua River. This is perhaps one of the most enjoyable scenic and relaxing roads a club member could ask for. From there we will continue south and finally head west over the coast range to our destination in Bandon. \n2nd Night: Windermere On the Beach & Best Western Inn at Face Rock\, Bandon\, OR \n5:30-6:30 pm: Hosted Bar. \n6:30-8:30 pm: Hosted Dinner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 3: Friday 9/18/26\n\n\n\n\n On Friday we will be driving down the coast into California. \nThere will be multiple opportunities for points of interest and stops along the way.  Further into California\, we will be moving away from the coast\, and driving into the Redwoods. \nFinally arriving at the historic Benbow Inn\, where we will be spending two nights. \n3rd and 4th Night: Benbow Historic Inn\, Garberville CA\, \n5:30-6:30 pm: Hosted Reception \n6:30 pm: Hosted Dinner \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 4: Saturday 9/19/26\n\n\n\n\n Saturday will be a Navigator’s Day Off. There will be several options for activities. One option will be an easy drive further south to Fort Bragg and  Mendocino for lunch and returning by a slightly different route. \nWe’re also offering a private guided hikes in the Rockefeller Forest on Saturday 6/20. You need to sign up and purchase a ticket during the registration: \n\nTwo approximately 3-hour guided hike in the Rockefeller Forest led by a private naturalist guide.\nOne at 10 am and one at 1:15 pm\nThe Rockefeller Loop Trail/Bull Creek Flat trail is at the foot of the majestic 10\,000-acre Rockefeller Forest.\nThe Rockefeller Forest is the largest remaining contiguous old-growth coastal redwood forest in the world.\nTrees soaring to immense heights combined with a relatively open under story combine to create a fairy-book forest!\nWalking through these forests is an exhilarating hike in amazing grandeur.\nSome of the tallest trees in the world are in this forest\, and some are thousands of years old.\nCost: $21/person\nMaximum attendees: 16 per hike\nTime: first hike begins at 10am and the second hike begins at 1:15pm\n\n4th Night: Benbow Historic Inn\, Garberville CA \n3:30-5:00 pm: Beer Wash \n5:30-6:30 pm: Hosted Bar \n6:30-8:30 pm: Hosted Dinner \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 5: Sunday 9/20/26\n\n\n\n\n On Sunday we depart from the Benbow Inn\, and head north and east through some interesting mountain roads until finally merging onto I-5 a few miles south of the Oregon border.  Then it’s onto Ashland for our final night of the tour. \n5th Night: Ashland Springs Hotel\, Ashland\, OR \n5:30-6:30 pm: Hosted Bar. \n6:30-8:30 pm: Hosted Dinner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay 6: Monday 9/21/26\n\n\n\n\nOn Monday\, after breakfast at the hotel\, we head home to Portland. \n\n  \nGeneral Information\n\n\nWaitlist: \n\nIf all 40 tickets for a tour are sold\, please add your name to the waitlist.\nIf tickets become available due to cancellation of ticket holders\, we will invite on a first on waitlist – first serve basis to purchase available tickets\n\n  \nRefund Policy: \n\n100% refund until 90 days prior to tour start\n50% refund until 45 days prior to tour start.
