With an eye towards developing the Porsche service technicians of the future, the Oregon Region PCA has given annual scholarships of $1,500 to an Automotive Service Technology student at each of 3 metro-area community colleges:

Grants to High School Automotive Programs 

In order to help students in the K-12 system the Oregon Region PCA offers a competitive grant of up to $1,000 to high school automotive programs to enable them to purchase equipment and or tools they need to enhance their training program.

The application timeline is:
Dec 1 — Announcement letter sent to each school principal
Jan 15 — Email sent to all High School automotive instructors in the ORPCA region
Mar 20 — Deadline for the return of the application
Apr 20 — ORPCA notifies Grant recipient and other applicants
Sep 15 — The grant recipient notifies ORPCA that equipment purchase is complete and integrated into the curriculum
