SUMMARY:Coastal Escape Weekend
DESCRIPTION:March 21-22\, 2026 \nThis single overnight adventure is a classic Oregon road trip. Join President\, Carole Hedstrom and First Navigator\, Brad Hedstrom on a short trip to the coast. \nSaturday\, March 21 – We’ll leave from Wilsonville and take the twistiest way out from the Portland-metro to the iconic Salishan Lodge at Gleneden Beach. The drive is approximately 200 miles with multiple stops for refreshments and bio-breaks. We’ll relax and take in the sea breezes before heading to dinner at The Side Door Café. If you haven’t been\, you are in for a treat. The restaurant is just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel. \nSunday\, March 22 – After a leisurely morning\, we’ll take to the coast again\, mostly avoiding Hwy 101 as we make all the stops along the Three Capes route. After enjoying the stunning views of the Pacific and a lighthouse\, we head further north to Cannon Beach. Another treat awaits us there as we roll our beautiful cars into a high-end neighborhood for a tour of luxury homes at Ecola Point.
