SUMMARY:The 2026 Lost Hat Drive
DESCRIPTION:Extended day drive through Maupin\, Tygh Valley ending in The Dalles. We’ll start at Huckleberry Inn in Government Camp\, consider grabbing breakfast at the Huckleberry Inn which opens at 6:30 a.m. Official meetup and safety meeting at 8:30 a.m. The drive ends at 12:30 p.m. at Bargeway Pub in The Dalles. Don’t miss this incredible drive! \nEvent Organizer: Fred Holzheiser and Mark McGirr \nEvent Stats:\nNumber of Groups: 2 groups of 12 cars\nTotal Miles: 100+\nTotal Drive Time: 3.5 hours \nDigital Navigation Support: \nRidewithGPS link will be provided to attendees with Driving Directions. \nRegistration Information:  \nRegistration will close on July 10 at 5:00 p.m. Volunteers will be needed for Leads and Sweeps. Please volunteer when you register\, if you are able and willing to accept the responsibilities. \nGeneral Information about this Event: \nRegistration is by car. Each driver must complete the data collection in the registration form. If you have a navigator\, please register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator\, just mark the navigator question as N/A. \nThe start location\, time\, description of Digital Navigation Support as well a printable PDF file of Driving Directions will be provided two days before the event to all registrants.
