It's the month of hearts and roses so spoil your best beloved with a truly special treat: dinner at the landmark Davis Street Tavern. The chance to view this beautifully restored, historic building (think: sandblasted beams, original brickwork, gleaming wood) is worth the trip alone! Dinner will be $48 per person, which includes gratuity and non-alcoholic drinks.
From 6:15 pm to 7:15pm we will share family style appetizer platters of:
Mushroom & Mascarpone Phyllo Tarts
Seared Crab Cakes with Vanilla Corn Fondue Grilled Flank Steak & Watercress on Crostini, Truffled Horseradish
Dinner service stats at 7:15 :
1st course:
Butter Lettuce and Spinach Salad with Grape Tomatoes, French Radish, Rogue River Blue Cheese and a Pink Peppercorn Cider Vinaigrette
2nd Course, Choice of:
- Seared Monchong (Hawaiian Snapper) over Butternut Squash and Pignoli (Pine Nut Puree) with sauteed Brussels Sprouts, Pancetta and Tarragon Buerre Fondue
- Carlton Farms Double Cut Pork Chop with a White Bean Cilantro Puree, Toasted Cumin Slaw and Green Apple & Jalapeno Reduction
- Seared Chicken Breast with Velvety Mac n Cheese, and Pancetta Broccolinni
- Autumn vegetable broil with acorn squash, fingerling potatoes, bosch pear, cana de cabra (goat cheese) and a port balsamic reduction.
3rd Course:
Selection of desserts served family style- the truly intrepid will go to the website and send suggestions!

This event is on it’s way to becoming the premier Track and Autocross event for the local area and we anticipate it filling up so register early to ensure you get in.
SBO is a multi day event. Where we will provide you the opportunity to exercise your car and your mind in pursuit of automotive control excellence at the track.

This March we will be trying something a bit different on two fronts- a new date and a new place! The task of finding a place that would take us (and that we could take) on St. Patrick ’s Day was nothing short of Herculean, so we’re moving back to the fourth Wednesday of the month – mark your calendar! April will see us back on track again… Also, through the efforts of Member-at-Large Susie Groover we will be heading to Buster’s Barbeque for some genuine, Texas-style barbeque in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. I can’t wait to try it!

SPRING CLEAN & DETAIL
Saturday April 10
Despite our wishes for good weather for kicking off the driving season, we often find ourselves fending off the rain instead
of trying to block out the sunshine. So we are foregoing the April A&D to bring the club another event - Spring Clean & Detail. Mark your calendar, take the cover off the Porsche, recharge the battery and bring your car down to Matrix Integrated where we have brought together many car detailers to freshen up your ride ! There will be experts on hand to take care of paint chips and scratches, a paintless dent removal pro for those annoying parking lot door dings, a windshield chip and glass reconditioning pro and a wheel repair
person for those nasty nicks and rashes.
Bring your Porsches to the pros and get some great tips and tweaks to make it even better than you imagined ! Special Porsche Club pricing !
Even consider getting your oil change done as well.
Matrix Integrated is centrally located at 4000 SW Macadam Ave Portland 97239 503.443.1141 and we will kick this event off @

34th annual Portland Historic races July 9-11 2009 @ PIR
Arrive & Drive
The July11 ( Saturday ) Arrive and Drive will depart from the North location(as will the remainder of 2009 A/D's) located @ the Elmers Restaurant 9848 N Whitaker Rd Portland OR. Take I-5 to the #306 exit // same exit for PIR, head East / South for approx 250 yds and Elmers will be on your left. Please be there by 8:45am to sign waivers, review instructions, and have a brief drivers meeting. Steve Lyon will be our tourmeister and we will be heading west of Portland to enjoy some of our great roads and weather. Our end spot for lunch will be at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse.
