This is a three-day extended drive, headed to Baker City for two nights with plenty of driving on scenic, twisty backroads. The actual route will depend upon the level of snowmelt. Thursday, we will meet at the Huckleberry Inn in Government Camp, have lunch in Fossil, and end the day in Baker City where we will stay at the Geiser Grand Hotel for both Thursday and Friday nights. Friday, we head towards Oxbow Dam at the Oregon/Idaho border, and, depending on the snowmelt, we will either go north to Joseph or south to Ontario.  On Saturday, we head home via, once again depending on snowmelt, Anthony Lake, Ukiah, Heppner, Condon, and Wasco. Unlike in the past several years, we will not be visiting any wineries. Instead, since the Geiser Grand Hotel has a reasonable corkage fee, so please bring some of your favorite wines to share as part of our two dinners. Your registration fee includes the cost of the Thursday and Friday night dinners that will be held at the Geiser Grand Hotel. Registration is open here: Bring Your Own Wine TourThere are still 11 spots remaining for this tour.
FYI – After you register for the event, please call the Geiser Grand Hotel (541-523-1889) no later than 3/31/24 to make your room reservation and receive the club’s discounted hotel rate. Tell them you are with the ORPCA 2024 tour group.

Join the Porsche ladies for an informal tech talk covering basic Porsche mechanical troubleshooting. Brittany Danielle, Service Advisor and Client Consultant from Matrix Integrated, will lead us through some Porsche basics. Topics include dashboard lights, noises, tires, fluids, regular maintenance, and what to know if you need a tow. She will even offer tips on what to include in your car emergency kit.
This is a ladies only tech talk. If you have a question about your car, how something works, or what to do when something seems wrong, this is the place for answers and service support. Questions are welcome and remember, all questions are good questions. After the learning portion, reward yourself on your fresh Porsche knowledge with lunch at Chart House. We will order from the main menu on individual tickets.
Please RSVP for the Learning portion, the Lunch portion or both so that we can let Matrix and our restaurant know how many to expect. Space is limited for lunch reservation.  The RSVP will open on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00pm here: Ladies Learn and Lunch

The NW Passage Committee has created another exciting program with routes in southern Oregon. The tour will travel on twisty backroads and open-range roads, crisscrossing the Cascades.
There will be two tours this year:

  • Fall Tour: September 18-22, 2024

The tour will start at the Boulder Falls Inn in Lebanon, OR. The first day we head to Diamond Lake for lunch and then to the Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls, where we will stay for three nights. The second day crosses the Cascades over to Jacksonville and the Edenvale Winery for lunch, and then back to the Running Y Ranch. The third day is a 200+ mile loop drive. The fourth day leads us to the Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville, OR, where the tour ends.
