Portland Auto Show! Come Down and See the Cars

January 25 - January 28

The Portland Auto Show has invited the Oregon PCA to display 5 of our members’ unique Porsches as part of the show. This is our third year doing this and it is a great opportunity to showcase what our Club is all about! Our display is one of the most photographed in all of the Auto Show.

Come on down to the show and see all the cars!!
Show hours are:
Thursday January 25th: 10:00am to 10:00pm
Friday January 26th: 10:00am to 10:00pm
Saturday January 27th: 10:00am to 10:00pm
Sunday January 28th: 10:00am to 7:00pm

NEW in 2018 Quarterly Mixers – Please join us!

January 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

New this year, we are adding Quarterly Mixers. The 1st one is Sunday, January 28, 2018.

The first one is Sunday, January 28 starting at 2pm at The Lodge at Cascade Brewing (formerly the Raccoon Lodge Brew Pub) located at 7424 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway, Portland. Please note that children under 21 cannot attend this mixer.

You do not have to register! Just show up. These are no-host events with food be available to purchase.

4th Annual ORPCA Portland Winterhawks Hockey Outing

February 3 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Lift yourselves out of the cold Winter Doldrums and come inside for some fast-paced action on the ice. Grab a seat, join with OPRCA friends and enjoy Winterhawks Mascot Night: The Portland Winterhawks vs. The Tri-City Americans at the Moda Center.

Tickets are $27.50 each. This includes a Winterhawks hat, seeing our OPRCA name in lights on the Jumbotron, the company of a fun group of OPRCA enthusiasts AND enjoy Mascot Night. The mascots will be entertaining fans before and during the game on the concourse, then they will hit the ice in the first intermission for a wild, woolly hockey game where the fur will fly. The Winterhawks have 24 seats set aside for us.

Payment is by check. Make checks payable to OPRCA and send them to Ginny McQueen at 21950 Shannon Lane, West Linn, OR, 97068. Tickets will be held for you at Will Call.

Checks must be received by Thursday, January 25th, so Ginny can reserve seats for you.

Annual Autocross Tech Inspection

Our 2018 ORPCA Autocross season is coming. This year we will have our Autocross Tech Inspection day before we start racing. Jeremy and his team @ Matrix Integrated - downtown, have provided the AX group the use of his shop. The inspections will be held inside their shop.

Please go to our Rules and Regulations, Tech Inspections at: https://www.oregonpca.org/activities/autocross/tech-inspection-rules/ to be sure you know what we will be looking at.  If you pass inspection, you will get an annual tech sticker for your car and you will not need to go through any additional Tech Inspections.

Please have your car prepared and be ready to help out. Coffee and snacks will be provided!

This is a no fee event and only intended for our Autocross participants.

We are asking folks to register on Motorsportreg.com in order to anticipate attendance and have adequate refreshments on hand. Please go to: Link to registration on Motorsportreg.com

Registration will open Thursday, January 18 and close on Sunday, February 18 at 9:00 am.

Social Hour: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Dinner Hour: 7:00 - 8:00 pm

There is room for 50 people with a limited menu.

The options for your meal are:

  1. Homemade fish and chips $21
  2. Fried chicken w/braised greens $21
  3. Hanger Steak w/mushroom risotto $27

Please bring the correct change for your meal to the event.  No credit cards can be used for the meals.  Credit cards are accepted for all drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcohol).

The Tavern offers a corkage fee of $20.00 if you want to bring a bottle of wine.

Autocross Driver’s Skills Clinic

Our annual Driver Skills Clinic is offered on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the North Paddock of Portland International Raceway (PIR) - See directions below. Please arrive by 7:30.

Using your own car, drivers will receive instruction about autocross techniques ranging from the very basic to more advanced. Loaner helmets are available. The cost is $80.00 and is limited to 30 drivers. There will be a wait list if we fill up. Registration will include lunch and free entry into the afternoon “Test and Tune” from 1-5pm which is a sample autocross course. For more information on the Test and Tune please go to: Test and Tune. For those attending, you will also be able to apply your newly acquired skills the following morning, Sunday, March 18, if you register for Autocross #1.

Registration Coming Soon: The Autocross team has selected Motorsportsreg.com for the registration tool this year. A link will be provided here when available. Note: This same link will include the Driver Skills Clinic as well as the Test and Tune registration.

Access to the North Paddock: Enter through the PIR main gate and follow the PCA Autocross signs. The map below shows the location of the main entrance and the North Paddock, but the route may vary from the one shown. Follow the signs to the track Start/Finish line where you will sign waivers before the event.

Autocross Test and Tune

Join us for Autocross Test and Tune in the North Paddock of Portland International Raceway (PIR), from 1-5pm (please arrive by Noon).

The Test and Tune offers Driver Skills Clinic participants an opportunity to experience a real autocross. Other drivers can warm up and get a little seat time before the season starts on Sunday. Drivers can also try out their cars with any new equipment or adjustments they may have made to their cars over the winter. There will also be an opportunity for participants to have an annual tech performed on their cars.

The fee is $25 for all attendees (Note: This is included for the Driver Skills Clinic participants.) There will be a cap of 60 participants. Please arrive by Noon.
