Our May SUV Drive is intended to bring us off the beaten path, visiting smaller locales such as Laurelwood, Cherry Grove, Banks and Helvetia. Hoping for good weather and a few scenic stops along the way. PLEASE NOTE: This is planned as a CAT1 drive meaning portions of this route will be on unimproved / unpaved country roads (as planned, about 14 miles). Nothing to fear though, plenty of homes, communities and vineyards all thrive in these areas.
The drive will start at Ava Roasteria – Progress Ridge in Beaverton and conclude for lunch and lifting a glass at ABV Public House in Hillsboro.
Come on out and explore the Hillsboro Backcountry Discovery Route!!
