April SUV Drive: Waterfalls Galore

Join us for the April SUV drive.  We will head south for the first two legs of the drive on Willamette Valley backroads through a covered bridge to Silverton for a rest stop. From there, the next leg leads to Silver Falls State Park, and then a west bound loop to Mt. Angel for either a picnic lunch or lunch at the Glockenspiel Restaurant.  There are many waterfalls on this drive. We will have to stops with short hikes to the north and south waterfall, Bring good shoes! The fresh green of April and the rushing water will be beautiful. Total drive time is approximately 3 hours.

There will be one group with a maximum of 12 SUV’s.  We will meet at 9:00am, have a participants safety meeting at 9:15 am and depart at 9:30 am.

A volunteer is needed for the sweep role during the drive. If you are interested, please sign up during the registration process.

Registration information:

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.
• Registration is by car. Each driver must register their car. If you have a navigator, you will register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator questions as NA. Please see registration at the bottom of this page.
• Attendance is limited to 12 cars.
• The start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions and Scenic Navigation App Access will be provided a day before the event to all registrants.  Please check your SPAM folder if you do not get an email by 5:00pm the day before the event.
