July Arrive and Drive

July 8, 2023 @ 7:30 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Come join us for a “kool” wilderness drive throigh the Clackamas and Mt Hood National Forests.  Organized by Scott Dual, this 105-mile journey begins in Oregon City and follows the Clackamas River, venturing through the Riverside Fire Burns, miles of paved narrow wilderness forest roads, and then back to civilization in Government Camp for a great lunch at Mt Hood Brewing Co.  This provides the opportunity for additional afternoon adventures after lunch!  We have two rest stops planned, the first is a flush toilet and the second is a pit toilet.

This drive will be 3 groups of 15 cars. If all 3 groups are full when you get to this page, please sign up for waitlist.  We will do our best to get you in. If you can Lead or Sweep a group, please signup during registration as this will allow for participation of more members.

Since we are starting lunch at 11:45 to 12:15, we have to start early.  Everyone needs to arrive by 7:30am. The participant’s meeting will be at 7:45am. First group will leave wheels turning by 8:00 am, second group at 8:15am and the third at 8:30am.

Registration is open. Group 2 and 3 have openings.  Please register by car.
