May Saturday Drive: Covered Bridges – Bring a Picnic Lunch – FULL Waitlist Open

This drive is full.   Please put your name on our waitlist and we will fill cancelations from that list.

This is a casual drive starting in Wilsonville, traveling through Marquam and Yoder. We will wind our way through Silver Falls State Park and into Stayton’s Pioneer Park for a restroom break and a short walk to the Jordan Covered Bridge. We will then drive to the Hannah and Shimanek Covered Bridges before stopping for a picnic lunch at the Roaring River County Park.  After lunch we will drive through the Larwood, Hoffman and Gilkey Covered Bridges on our way to the Fireside Lounge at the Oregon Garden Resort for some refreshments at the Fireside Lounge.  We will be driving approximately 140 miles on this tour, so make sure that you start with a full tank of fuel.

This Tour has a maximum of 10 vehicles per group, due to the limited parking spaces at most of the Covered Bridge stops.  There will be 3 groups.  Please arrive at 8:30am.  There will be a combined Participant Safety meeting at 8:45. We will have a staggered start for the groups after the safety meeting.

Please register for the group you want.    Volunteers are needed for Leads and Sweeps. Please volunteer when you register, if you are able and willing to accept the responsibilities.

General information about this event:

• The “Release and Waiver of Liability” will be available to sign at the start of the drive.
• Registration is by car. Each driver must register their car. If you have a navigator, you will register that person at the same time. If you don’t have a navigator, just mark the navigator question as N/A.
• The start location and a printable PDF file of Printed Route Directions and Scenic Navigation App Access will be provided a day before the event to all registrants. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see an email with the directions within 24 hours of the event.
• Since this is a registration only event, please do not share this information with anyone else.
